Estate at death consisted of 7 (seven) plots of land in Margate and
surrounding area.
There was a letter from a Mrs. E. Mary FAUX. to a Sis. requesting his
birth certificate. dated- 9 Feb.1967. with return address as,
Whitehall Hotel, Box 23, Margate, Natal.
Also Papers from the S.A.R & H. (South African Railways & Harbours)
showing that he was a retired rail worker, and that his monthly
pension was 3pound and 16pence.
Research for Gregory John FAUX, and found no mention of Frederick FAUX, the only principals in the files
were , Christina, his wife, Geoffrey, his son, and Mssrs. TUCKER, his
lawyer in Johannesburg, who handled the sale of his 5 property's in
BELLEVUE EAST, Johannesburg, Transvaal. at the time of his death, his
wife was resident at 106 Hopkins Street, Bellevue East, Johannesburg,
TVL.
One of the 7 property's Gregory John had in Port Shepstone, was a
service station, " Thanets Garage" ,which business he ran with his son
Geoffrey John, The same property was sold by his Wife to his son for
£1500.0.0
Christina was name executor of his estate,
comprising of the seven properties on the South Coast, namely in and
around Port Shepstone, and five properties in Belleview East,
Johannesburg.There was also some money, altogether totaling about
£7,000.0.'s.
